UGA intern develops concept for Hart State Park entryway
August 16, 2016
Tyler Barron, a UGA College of Environment + Design landscape architecture undergraduate and Archway Partnership intern, worked with the City of Hartwell to design an entryway for Hart State Park. Throughout the summer, Barron worked with the Mayor of Hartwell, Brandon Johnson, and City Manager, David Aldrich, to create a concept that would connect to aspects of the entryway already in place but provide a vision for the future of Hart State Park. He also helped them to create various naming options for the park, the final of which became Hartwell Lakeside. In his design, Barron incorporated the look of the City’s new logo which was developed by Jake Green, Lamar Dodd School of Art alumnus and former Archway Partnership graphic design intern.
Below are images of Barron’s design along with the branded logo for the newly named Hartwell Lakeside.
