Sam Perren joined the Archway Partnership in 2017 and currently serves as an Archway Professional based in Athens, working primarily with Hawkinsville-Pulaski County and on statewide projects. Sam received a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Georgia in 2011 and a Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2015, also from UGA. Prior to joining Archway, Sam worked with the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, where he focused on a variety of local government assistance projects, including planning, grant writing, project management, ordinance and policy development, and economic development.
Between undergraduate and graduate school, Sam worked for the City of Dallas, Georgia and as a musician at a start-up church. While in graduate school, Sam worked as a graduate assistant at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, where he coordinated the Vinson Fellows undergraduate honors program. A native of Dallas, Georgia, he now resides in Athens.
