Heidi Grogger serves as the Connected Resilient Communities (CRC) Archway Professional. In this role, she supports communities across Georgia in building local resilience through university-community collaboration, strategic planning, and engagement.

Heidi brings extensive experience in community development, systems design, and facilitation to her role as an Archway Professional. Her career spans over a decade leading large-scale, equity-centered initiatives in early childhood and family support systems. As Oregon’s State Program Manager for Healthy Families Oregon, she oversaw statewide implementation, managed multimillion-dollar grants, and led cross-sector partnerships focused on collaboration and sustainable impact. Heidi’s earlier work in research, technical assistance, and co-design—both domestically and abroad—strengthened her approach to helping communities align local priorities with data-driven strategies that build resilience and foster collective leadership. Heidi is passionate about applying design-thinking approaches to help communities co-create sustainable, locally driven solutions.

Heidi holds a Master of Social Work and a Graduate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies from the University of South Carolina. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon in Cultural Anthropology.
