Sara Hand serves as the Archway Professional in Colquitt County, though she previously served the as the Archway Program Coordinator from 2014-2016.

In 2017, she was named the Assistant Director the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Georgia Museum of Agriculture. In this role, she managed human resources, budgeting, special events, marketing, and volunteer coordination. Further, Sara collaborated with multiple organizations across the region and state to advance Destination Ag, the Museum’s innovative elementary agricultural education program.

Sara is a Double Dawg, with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communication (2013) and a Master of Agricultural and Environmental Education (2020). She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Administration from Valdosta State University with a focus on rural community development. She was also a participant in the 2020-2021 South Georgia Leads program.

Sara resides in her hometown of Tifton with her husband Justin, their daughter Della, and a herd of cattle.
