Biography

Shaneesa Ashford is the Archway Professional in Spalding County. She was a communications specialist with the Department of Human Resources at Emory University for 15 years before going into consulting in 2022. She is a graduate of Florida A&M in journalism and earned her masters in nonprofit organizations from UGA. She also has a Juris Master from the Emory School of Law and is currently working on her Ed.D. in workforce education from the Mary Frances Early College of Education.

She is a big supporter of her Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, even serving as the Georgia director for six years. She is active in the FAMU National Alumni Association, the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action. Shaneesa is also a Hallmark Channel junkie and looks forward to the new holiday movies each year.
